DPF renewal when the filter is past cleaning.
Some filters cannot be cleaned reliably. We can advise on renewal when the filter is damaged, ash-loaded, oil-contaminated or repeatedly failing after previous work.
When replacement is the better route
Renewal is usually considered after diagnosis shows the filter itself is no longer serviceable or a previous clean has failed because the filter condition is too poor.
- Cracked, melted or internally damaged filter cores
- High ash loading on higher mileage vehicles
- Oil contamination from turbo or engine faults
- Failed previous cleaning or recurring high back pressure
